NEW HAVEN POLICE ARREST SUSPECT IN CHAPEL STREET ROBBERY

(12/28/2007) NEW HAVEN- Shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday, New Haven Police arrested 52-year-old Henry Lee Scott in connection with a robbery that took place at the Family Dollar store, 760 Chapel Street, earlier in the evening. Scott reportedly entered the Family Dollar store at around 9:30 p.m. wearing a face mask and carrying a knife. After fleeing with money from the store, Sergeant Tony Zona and Officers Kathy Bisson and Eduardo Diaz caught up with Scott in the vicinity of State Street and arrested him. Scott was charged with Robbery in 1st, Larceny in the 2nd as well as Carrying a Dangerous Weapon and Interfering with Police.
